With each day, the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic inflicts more pain across our communities. Schools across the state are closed, restaurants and other businesses are shuttered, and countless workers face the reality of layoffs, furloughs, and missed paychecks.
Because of the generous support of our partners, we are rapidly mobilizing to keep meals on the table for seniors, children, and families across the Metro Atlanta area. Now more than ever, the mission of the dReam Center Church of Atlanta matters. The impact of the Coronavirus has led to record-breaking unemployment, economic disruption, and food insecurity for more than 1 million Georgians. As a life-sustaining organization, dReam Cares takes its commitment to the community very seriously. With safe and efficient protocols, we are providing 10,000 pounds of food on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month beginning this Saturday, April 25th. Being concerned about how to feed yourself and your family should be the last thing on your mind when you are concerned about your health and finances. We are here to help.
