The City of Milton and Vox Artium Foundation have partnered once again to bring the Rock For Rescues Festival to Crabapple Road on April 27th! Combining a love of music and animals, this free, community festival showcases a variety of local bands, including, WALDEN, The Last Chance Riders, Pony League, Alex Guthrie, a slow boat to china and Sister Moon. The RockU student band all stars will be opening the show.ALL proceeds from this event will benefit these 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organizations: Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort (AWARE), Canine CellMates, Georgia House Rabbit Society, Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters, and Special Equestrians of Georgia!The Festival is on Crabapple Road from 1:00p-10:00p April 27th. There will be vendors, food trucks, animal adoptions and activities and this year there are reserved table seating as well as VIP tent passes available at rockforrescues.org

The City of Milton is ready to rock! On Saturday, April 27, the city will host Rock for Rescues in partnership with nonprofit Vox Artium Foundation. Rock for Rescues, a one-day outdoor music festival, features local bands and benefits five area non-profit animal rescue organizations: AWARE Wildlife Center, Canine Cellmates, Furkids, Georgia House Rabbit Society, and Milton's own Special Equestrians of Georgia.
The event is free to attend, but donations are encouraged in advance and on-site the day of the festival. You can also text to donate: just text ROCKON to 44-231!

Itaska Walk will close Friday at 3 p.m. for set up, and will reopen Sunday, April 28, at 3 p.m. Crabapple Road from Broadwell Road to the roundabout at Heritage Walk will be closed Saturday from 5 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Thanks to our community partners, free event parking is available at Crabapple First Baptist Church, Crabapple Crossing Elementary School, Northwestern Middle School, and Milton High School. There will be a shuttle available, which will pick up and drop off at Milton High School and Crabapple First Baptist Church. Handicap parking will be available at Alpharetta Court Services.
Note: Parking is strictly prohibited in the Crabapple Market and along neighborhood streets. Cars violating these parking requirements are at risk for towing at the owner's expense.
